WHAT TO EXPECT
Our pastors preach directly from the Bible, speaking clearly to both Christians and non-Christians. They connect spiritual teaching to everyday, practical experiences.
Traditional worship features a choir, organ and songs from the hymnal. Contemporary worship features a live band playing modern worship songs and choruses.
Guest parking is available in a paved lot on the north side of the Sanctuary. Additional parking can be found in the grass and gravel lots around the church. (see map)
We offer a variety of classes and small groups. While many are not currently offered in-person on Sundays, you can still join a group that fits your needs.

Killearn Kids programs are created specifically for your children ages six weeks through 5th grade. We believe it is important to ground our children in the faith, and to build relationship between child, parent and teacher. Our volunteer teachers and nursery staff will connect with them through games, songs, stories and fun projects.
We go the extra mile to make the Killearn Kids safe and enjoyable:
Killearn requires professional background checks for all volunteers.
We make it easy to contact you if you're ever needed during the service.
Paid nursery staff has been trained and CPR certified.
Use our easy check-in system to get your child safely to and from their class.
Killearn Student Ministry offers multiple experiences for worship, study and fun for your youth. Our staff and volunteers care about our students, their relationship with God, and encourage them as they grow closer to God and each other in their daily lives.
Join Killearn Student Ministries in our weekly events:
Sunday School at 9:30 AM and 11 AM each week and Sunday Night Live worship at 6 PM.
Wednesday night small groups and community activities.
Killearn United Methodist Church was founded in 1969 with 65 people and a budget of $1705. David Brazelton was our first pastor and we met at what is now Gilchrist Elementary School, before our Sanctuary and campus were built.
Over the years we have grown and created fruitful ministries, many of which still exist today. We believe in the importance of engaging with our community, which we do through programs such as Killearn Kids Preschool, The Living Christmas Story, The Shamrock Scurry, the Food Bank, Shadetree Group, and much much more. Over the years, we have sent 15 men and women into the ordained ministry. Today, Pastor Mike Fordham serves as our Senior Pastor, along with with Associate Pastor Mike Toluba.
Our congregation and ministries have developed, grown and changed over the years. To this day, we continue to uphold our mission statement:
To present Christ, encourage growth and holiness,
and to send believers out to present Christ to others.
